Deliverable D1.2 - Operational procedures for RAS assisted inspections
This document describes the procedures that are expected to be implemented for the use of Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) for the survey of Cargo Holds and Ballast Tanks of Bulk Carriers under ROBINS. These operational procedures describe the set of actions considered by the operator as part of the preparatory, during operation and post-operation activities. This set of actions considers (a) the existing platform specific capabilities, (b) the survey scope, as linked to the analysis of the requirements (D1.1) and (c) the requirements for the data collection process as related to the evaluation by the human surveyor and further use by post processing tools. Numeric results for the operational parameters are produced for application examples.
