Abstract:
In this document we propose to create and publicly share a data set of images, videos and other data taken during tests onboard or in the Testing Facility, aimed at providing meaningful input and/or test data for benchmarking software tools dedicated to:
- the creation of 3D models of inspected spaces
- the rendering of the aforementioned 3D models for virtual tours in augmented reality environments
- defect recognition/classification, with particular reference to ship’s hull material wastage, fractures and deformation
